Originally released in 1976 on Motown & produced by Frank Wilson & Michael Sutton, ‘Down To Love Town’ off The Originals ‘Communique’ album, instantly became an instant Billboard Magazine #1 & a certified club classic.

This much adored song has previously seen huge edits by both The Reflex & Dimitri From Paris, heavily sampled by the likes of Sound Stream, The Pound Boys & Groove Assassins & now fully covered by Midnight Riot’s Sean Scanlan & Yam Who?

Featuring the incredible Brian Lucas on vocals, bass & guitar, with Yam Who? & Hamish Balfour bringing the full on instrumentation, this is a powerful interpretation, still maintaining the heavily influenced Philly Disco vibe but with a tight futuristic feel.
