Midnight Riot take something of a left turn into trad-style soulful house territory with this release from Hungarian producer Rony Breaker, which features the golden tonsils of San Francisco's Brian Lucas. In its Original form, 'Change' sits in the tradition of cuts like Shaun Escoffery's 'Days Like This' or Erro's 'Change For Me', which means anthem status at the likes of Soul Heaven or the Vocal Booth Weekender is pretty much guaranteed. Qwestlife then beefs up the bottom end for the slightly more commercial/discofied floors, but it's the sheer quality of Lucas's vocal that carries it either way.
