London's Midnight Riot are back from the land of the rising sun with round two of the most obscure Japanese boogie and disco jams. Once again, they've brought together the finest DJ's and collectors for a killer installment of unique productions and edits. A must have for all the DJ Muro, Joey Negro and DJ Harvey fans out there, these guaranteed grooves are completely impossible to find in this day and age. Shit Hot Soundsystem not only win award for best name of the year, but hammer out a wicked edit of the Giorgio Moroder influenced "Kannushi" to kick the party off. Dripping in new wave cool and a dancing to a propulsive bass sequence, this robotic romp should have you flinging limbs fast enough to break your limited edition Swatch. Next up, Ziggy Phunk fire up the filters, slap on a load of galactic synth glitz and unleash an infectious edit which rolls along like a Jpop version of 'Fly Robin Fly'. Over on the flip, Sean Innit makes up for missing out on the name of the year crown with a laid back and lovely bit of spectral city pop before label staples Yam Who? go heavy with a lo-slung boogie funk excursion courtesy of their edit "Mono Drive".

They have brought together the finest DJs and collectors for another instalment of unique productions and edits. A must have for all the DJ Muro, Joey Negro and DJ Harvey fans out there, these guaranteed grooves are completely impossible to find in this day and age. Go with a lo-slung boogie funk excursion courtesy of their edit "Mono Drive" and Rayko appears again with the neon-lit '80s funk of "Curious" which sounds like Axel Foley goes to Tokyo! And there are loads more eastern slo-mo rarities spliced to perfection on offer!
