Italian producer Da Lukas received plenty of praise too for his first appearance on Midnight Riot earlier in the year, and here returns to Yam Who's imprint with two more tooled-up peak-time workouts. Opener "Groove On" sees him successfully add bouncy but beefy beats, filter effects and various disco-house production techniques to Reuben Wilson funk classic "Got To Get Your Own". Meanwhile, "In A Disco" is little less than a celebratory disco-house romp built around the variously throbbing, life-affirming and over-the-top elements of a stone-cold disco classic.
